  6. The drivers named "ACCNT" conform to the NDIS3 MiniPort Spec. It can support
  7. Windows NT 3.5 and Windows 95 with different oemsetup.inf file.
  8. This driver also support the Windows NT 3.1 but user must replace NDIS.SYS
  9. by NT 3.5 DDK's NDIS.SYS (\DDK\SRC\NETWORK\NT31BIN\I386\FREE\NDIS.386)

  22.    1)  In the Main group of NT, choose the Control Panel icon.
  23.  
  24.    2)  In the Control Panel window, choose the Network icon.
  25.  
  26.    3)  In the Network Settings dialog box, choose the Add Adapter button.
  27.        The Add Network Adapter dialog box appears.
  28.  
  29.    4)  In the list of network cards, select "<other> Requires disk from
  30.        manufacturer", and then press <Enter> button.
  31.  
  32.    5)  Insert this driver disk in drive A, enter drive and pathname A:\NT35
  33.        and then choose the OK button.

  35.    6)  In the Select OEM Option dialog box, you will see Accton EN166x MPX2
  36.        PnP Adapter in the menu, use OK button to install it.

  38.    7)  And then Accton EN166x MPX2 PnP Card Setup dialog box appear, you
  39.        can specify "IRQ level" and "I/O Port Address" of the adapter plugged
  40.        in your PC. However, this NDIS 3.0 mini port driver has support auto
  41.        IO, IRQ scan for EN166x MPX2 adapter, so driver can work even user
  42.        select a wrong IO port and IRQ.

  44.        For multiple cards installation, specify correct IO port and IRQ is
  45.        necessary.

  47.    8)  After that, installation is completed. Accton's adapter becomes one
  48.        of those Installed Adapter Cards and driver become one of those
  49.        Installed Network Software. You can see: "[0x]Accton EN166x MPX2 PnP
  50.        Adapter" within Installed Adapter Cards menu and "Accton EN166x MPX2
  51.        PnP Adapter Driver" within Installed Network Software menu.

  53.    9)  Now, the SYSTEM have already copied ACCNT.SYS from A:\NT35
  54.        directory to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS and the OEMSETUP.INF form
  55.        A:\NT35 to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 but renamed it to other installation
  56.        information file. So next time, if you want to add Accton's adapters
  57.        to your system, you do not need floppy diskette again.

  59.   10)  To complete network installation, remember binding the adapter to
  60.        transport drivers by choosing "Bindings" button under Network Setting
  61.        dialog box.

  63.   11)  Restarting your system you will acquire network service.
